Rohill through Grupo Ezentis and Grupo CYS to modernize TETRA communication networks at nine AENA airports

Hoogeveen / Madrid, July 28, 2026 – Grupo Ezentis today announced that its subsidiary Grupo Comunicaciones y Sonido (Grupo CYS) has been awarded the contract by AENA to upgrade the TETRA communication networks serving nine Spanish airports as part of AENA’s nationwide TETRA network modernization program. Rohill, the technology partner for the project, will provide its TetraNode platform and technical expertise for the project.

The project, to be completed over the next 36 months, will enhance network security, authentication capabilities and the resilience of mission-critical communications, ensuring the infrastructure is ready to meet future operational requirements.

The airports covered by the project are Lanzarote Airport (ACE), Bilbao Airport (BIO), Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport (GRX), Gran Canaria Airport (LPA), Menorca Airport (MAH), Región de Murcia International Airport (RMU), Santiago-Rosalía de Castro Airport (SCQ), Seville Airport (SVQ) and Zaragoza Airport (ZAZ).

The upgraded communication networks, based on Rohill’s TetraNode platform and implemented by Grupo CYS, will continue to provide secure, reliable mission-critical communications on which these airports depend for their daily operations, coordination and safety.
