Last week, Rohill took part in the 9th MCX Plugtest, an interoperability testing event organized by ETSI and hosted by Texas A&M University. Over the course of five days, the event brought together industry leaders to conduct extensive testing and debugging of Mission Critical Services (MCX) solutions.

MCX refers to Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT), Mission Critical Data (MCData), and Mission Critical Video (MCVideo) – a set of standardized communication services designed to ensure reliable and secure communication for public safety and other critical operations.

During the Plugtest, Rohill successfully executed Interworking Function (IWF) tests with eight different MCX vendors, validating the seamless interoperability between Mission Critical Services (MCX) and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems based on open standards. This milestone highlights the importance of standard-based interworking solutions in ensuring reliable and future-proof mission-critical communications.
